In November, 6,391 sales were reported through the TorontoMLS system. Total sales were up 13.9 per cent compared to November 2012. In the meantime, new listings were down by 4.4 per cent. The average selling price in November was $538,881 representing an increase of 11.3 per cent compared to the average of $484,208 in November 2012. The single-detached house market was the leading segment followed by condo apartment in terms of sales growth.
According to Jason Mercer, TREB’s Senior Manager of Market Analysis, the annual home price growth remained well-above the inflation rate in November.
